East Dorset, Vermont. Notice the marble. There is so much marble in the surrounding hills that has been used for everything from tombstones to curbstones and sidewalks. Imagine a marble sidewalk. I later learned that this was the childhood church of Bill Wilson, aka "Bill W," the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. Bill grew up in the Wilson House, a country inn, on the adjacent corner.
